Mustafa Zaim: Aegean Region Has Become Globally-Recognized Wheel Production Hub

Maxion İnci Rose By 14 Places Ranking The 115th On Iso 500 List. Maxion Jantaş Is Now On The 380th Place, Rising By 40 Ranks. Mustafa Zaim, Chair Of The Board Of Maxion İnci And Maxion Jantaş, Said: “The Aegean Region Has Become Globaly-recognized Wheel Production Hub. We Are Proud Of Being The Driving Force Behind This Growth.”

A subsidiary of Brazilian Maxion Wheels Group and İnci Holding, Maxion İnci rose by 14 ranks coming to the 115th place and Maxion Jantaş by 40 ranks to the 380th place on the list of 500 Largest Industrial Enterprises of Turkey, thanks to the successful performance they had in 2017.

In 2017, Maxion İnci and Maxion Jantaş produced more than 10 million wheels for the first time in their history. They now target a production of 11 million wheels in 2018, while aiming to perform exports worth 400 million dollars and to create added-value for the Turkish economy. Subsidiaries of the world’s largest wheel producer, Brazilian Maxion Wheels Group, and İnci Holding, they export to more than 50 countries and contribute to the economy through employment they create at four plants located in Manisa Organized Industrial Zone.

Chair of the Board of Maxion İnci and Maxion Jantaş, Mustafa Zaim, said İnci Holding has become a role model for the Aegean region, having launched investments in the region by producing wheels. Zaim delivered the following remarks:

“Launching wheel production in the Aegean region, we have become a role model for the investments that have followed ours. As a result of our efforts, extensive know-how on the industry is accumulated in the region. Manisa and İzmir are now Europe’s hub for wheel production. The Aegean region has proved to be the global wheel production center. We are proud of having pioneered this branding effort and ranking among Turkey’s largest industrial enterprises. We trust our country and work selflessly to further develop our country and company.”

Stating that Maxion İnci and Maxion Jantaş will continue with investments, Zaim added: “With an employment for more than 220 people only in the past two years and a total of 1,700 employees, our companies will keep strengthening Turkey’s brand image abroad, while contributing to the economy of the country. As we achieve our sustainable development goals one by one, we are proud of being on the top ranks of ISO list. We will carry on working to contribute to Manisa, İzmir, the Aegean Region and Turkey, driven by our quality and leadership.”
