Maxion İnci Wheel Group awarded “Equality for Women at Work Certificate” in automotive industry

Maxion İnci and Maxion Jantaş have been found eligible to receive the Equality for Women at Work Certificate, which is awarded to organizations providing equal rights and opportunities for women in business life. Becoming the first company to be awarded this certificate in automotive OEM and supply industry based on its high score in the assessment process, Maxion İnci Wheel Group carries out activities in both companies to promote women's participation in business life, both internally and externally, and add value to women's life. Even though the industry is predominated by men, the number of women employees has been on the rise over the years in Maxion İnci Wheel Group.

Having adopted a Human Resources policy promoting diversity and inclusion as well as providing equal opportunities in a people-oriented workplace environment, Maxion İnci and Maxion Jantaş have been awarded the Equality for Women at Work Certificate based on its high score following an independent inspection carried out by Intertek, a British inspection firm carrying out activities in over 100 countries, in collaboration with the Sustainability Academy.

Having commented on the certificate awarded, Mustafa Zaim, the President of Maxion İnci and Maxion Jantaş said, “Our motto, ‘Value to Human’ is not just words, it also constitutes a basis for our gender equality approach. In addition to providing equal opportunities at work, we also contribute to raising awareness on the subject matter through various training activities and our social responsibility projects. We have an active women's platform within our Group. We carry out training and awareness activities against discriminatory and sexist language as well as unconscious biases. With the Equality for Women at Work Certificate awarded following an inspection under the sub-categories of Management System, Recruitment and Employment, Occupational Health & Safety, Supply Chain, and Social Impact, we greatly appreciate that our efforts in this matter have been certified. We are proud to become the first organization in the automotive industry to have been awarded this certificate."
